Admissions
Southgate School is a heavily oversubscribed, mixed comprehensive neighbourhood academy. It is non-selective and draws from its immediate community of Cockfosters and Southgate, though increasingly we take students from as far away as Palmers Green to Bush Hill Park. Each year Southgate School receives approximately 1300 applications across the six preferences for 240 places in Year 7.
We do not select pupils for admission to the school. This is the responsibility of the Enfield Council Admissions Service. Please follow the link below for further information regarding admissions.
